SEGREGO: The Smart Waste-Sorting Bin

Sustainability and AI | IIT Delhi Changemakers Bootcamp 2025

SEGREGO is an AI-powered smart bin capable of identifying and sorting waste into four categories: Plastic, Glass, Bio-waste, and Metal. Developed during the IIT Delhi Change Makers Bootcamp 2025, the prototype uses a camera with machine learning algorithms, a Raspberry Pi, and servo mechanisms to automate waste segregation. The project aimed to create a scalable, affordable solution to improve waste management efficiency in public and institutional spaces. The team presented SEGREGO to IIT Delhi faculty and received mentorship on taking the concept toward a deployable model for urban smart cities.

SUSTAINABILITY MOBILITY: E-BIKE

Sustainable Mobility | Rabyte x Modern School Vasant Vihar | Golden Jubilee Showcase

As part of Modern School Vasant Vihar’s 50th-year celebration, I collaborated with the tech company Rabyte to design and build a functional electric bike prototype from the ground up. The project, titled ElectroSwift, aimed to promote sustainable and affordable personal transportation. I worked on the electronics integration as the Mechanical Team leader. I also worked on motor control systems, and battery optimization — ensuring the e-bike could achieve smooth acceleration, stable braking, and efficient power usage. The final prototype was showcased at the school’s Golden Jubilee event and received recognition for its practical design and real-world application potential. ElectroSwift is a step toward smart urban commuting with minimal environmental impact.
